Dennis Bemmann CTO
Dennis Bemmann CTO

Dennis Bemmann is one of the founders of studiVZ Ltd. and its Chief Technical Officer. Born in 1978, Dennis’s interest in programming started early: at the age of seven he was using CP/M on a Z80 system. Since 1993 Dennis has focused on internet technology. Following his victory in a national competition for young researchers (Jugend forscht) in 1997, Dennis founded juFORUM, an online public network for young researchers, serving as its Technical Director between 2000 and 2005. During his time at juFORUM Dennis’s achievements included organising the German Congress of Young Researchers (2003), and establishing “Zahnrad”, a young researchers’ magazine (2004). In addition to his studies in Information Technology at Berlin’s Humboldt University, Dennis has a range of practical experience in developing software and internet applications for a number of different companies. Dennis has worked as a system level designer in the Xilinx Research Labs in both Longmont, Colorado and San Jose, California, where he worked on the development of microchips for internet routers, whilst publishing a number of scientific articles. When not at work, Dennis enjoys listening to music, learning languages, travelling and (of course) designing microprocessors. When he gets the chance, he might even finish his thesis!
